This series began when I was in a stall in the ladies room looking for a place to put my camera. While contemplating putting it on the floor, I noticed the feet of the person next to me. Being a curious person, and being a photographer, I decided to take a picture.
The feet are not generally the part of the body we depend on to tell us about a person. We are more used to solving the puzzle from the top down. In these photos, the feet are all that is revealed to you. So we have to put the pieces together in an all new way, which requires using a lot more imagination.
